Idea: Use 9 mm wide belts for X and Y with low initial tension, and shift the pulleys closer to the flanges. If that is not enough, add a bearing to the tip of the shaft or revert to direct connection to the screws. Check initial tension against values from the belt manufacturer.

5M Pulleys and Belts
Pitch diameter of 25T is 39.79. With some 25T steel parts, a φ19 bore cannot be made (Maedler max is 17). We are considering 20 mm wide aluminum listings as candidates. Standard belt widths are 9, 15, and 25. Pitch lengths from 225 to 550 are available in roughly 5 mm increments. Tooth profile compatibility between Misumi's S5M and HTD 5M is unverified, so we do not mix them.
